This training covers everything related to lighting and is helpful for architects, builders, and code officials alike. Content includes how to verify compliance with lighting power densities, lighting control requirements, minimum daylighting requirements, receptacle controls, and more. Participants will also gain practical knowledge around COMcheck for lighting, develop lighting strategies based on actual building plans, and explore some above-code approaches recommended by Southface. Content in this training is based on findings from a major field study undertaken by the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy.
