The 2015 IECC / ASHRAE 90.1-2013 Alabama Commercial Energy Code was adopted on January 1, 2016. This Commercial Energy Code Field Guide is primarily intended for use by code officials when inspecting commercial construction projects for compliance with the ASHRAE Standard 90.1‐2013. This includes new buildings and their systems, new portions of buildings and their systems, or new systems and equipment in existing buildings.
