The 2013 EarthCraft Awards were presented by David Ellis, executive vice president of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, and Dennis Creech, executive director of Southface, in the company of over 100 green building design and construction industry leaders at Emory Point on October 30. One project and one team from each of the five EarthCraft programs were recognized. An award for Environmental Excellence was also given.
The EarthCraft Awards are an integral component of the program. Rewarding builders that exceed standard program requirements brings recognition to program partners and helps advance innovation in the region’s green building industry. Developers, builders, architects, engineers, project managers, trade contractors and EarthCraft Technical Advisors are recognized for their commitment to advancing sustainable construction and providing healthy, comfortable and durable homes and workplaces.
