This course provides a thorough overview of the principles of building science, including the effects of thermodynamics, air pressure, and moisture on energy efficiency, air quality, and overall building performance. Participants will also learn how factors like climate, building orientation, and thermal bridging, as well as how the “building as a system” approach, can inform decisions around building design and construction.
