For the leadership of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, going green is about more than making wise energy choices. It’s about environmental sustainability and its effect on the bottom line.
Eight years ago, Agnes Scott President Elizabeth Kiss led the college’s adoption of American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment and launched our ongoing program of environmental sustainability. As we approached sustainability, our focus was to create a climate-neutral action plan based on our carbon footprint by looking at the way we handle energy and water projects here on campus.
