At Southface Institute, we study practical strategies to advance industrial decarbonization and efficient, cost-effective building performance for manufacturers. Our Research team collaborates with government and university partners on many projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), including Building America, the Georgia Energyshed Project, and the Georgia Industrial Assessment Center (Geo-IAC). Southface contributes data collection, building assessments, stakeholder engagement, and workforce training on a range of topics, from regional energy planning models to HVAC installation.
