Southface Institute, the Atlanta-based national leader in sustainable advocacy, building, planning and operations, is hosting its annual Visionary Dinner that convenes forward-thinking innovators who are committed to building an equitable and sustainable future, uniting them for an evening of thought leadership, friendship, exquisite food and fine wine pairings.
During the dinner, Southface will present its 2019 Argon Award to environmentalist, entrepreneur and author Paul Hawken and his work for Project Drawdown, a nonprofit he founded to research when and how global warming can be reversed. There will also be a dance performance by Ballethnic, a nonprofit dance company from East Point, GA, that is a grantee of Southface’s GoodUse resource efficiency grant program.
This annual event raises awareness and guarantees a secure future for Southface’s continued work in creating vibrant, healthy communities for all.
