"Ray of Hope" to be Presented at 2016 Bioneers Conference

The 2016 National Bioneers Conference will host the first-ever awards ceremony for the $100,000 Ray C. Anderson Foundation “Ray of Hope” Prize. The prize will be awarded to one of seven finalist teams in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge, a worldwide design competition that crowdsources nature-inspired solutions to climate change issues, like food systems, water management and alternative energy.

EarthCraft, a green building certification program that is a partnership between the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and Southface, recently assisted in the historic preservation of an apartment building that was built in the 1800s! SK Collaborative was the EarthCraft Technical Advisor for this restoration. The Greystone Apartments, an EarthCraft Multifamily project, currently serve as home to seniors and residents with disabilities in downtown Rome, Georgia.
