This is the first in a series featuring the new technologies Southface has implemented for our campuses to keep them up to date. Southface is grateful to GAF and All Roof Solutions for the donation of their time and product to improve the Resource Center.

Atlanta’s historic Imperial Hotel, one of the city’s few remaining Chicago style buildings constructed around the turn of the century, recently reopened as The Commons at Imperial Hotel, featuring 90 units serving low and moderate income residents, many of whom have special needs.

A major lighting renovation is underway at Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre. The renovation involves replacing 5,500 incandescent light bulbs with LED bulbs. When complete, the project is projected to reduce the electricity used by the upgraded bulbs by 80 percent, which will save the Fox over $14,000 annually.
