Events

Reserve your seat now for the 2014 Visionary Dinner on Wednesday, October 1 in the Egyptian Ballroom of the historic Fox Theatre. Each year the Visionary Dinner is anticipated by the Atlanta business community for the convergence of more than 500 business leaders, policy makers, design, development and construction professionals and sustainability innovators in one evening. Now in its 16th year, the dinner raises awareness and funding for Southface’s continued work in sustainable community development, high performance affordable housing, green jobs training, clean energy and green building.

The evening features a memorable dining experience provided by Atlanta’s top chefs who collaborate with Whole Foods Market to create a sumptuous, wine-paired and locally-sourced feast. This year’s chefs are: Thorir Erlingsson, Institute for Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality, Kennesaw State University; Mary Moore, The Cook’s Warehouse; Chris Raucci, Ted’s Montana Grill; Todd Richards, The Shed at Glenwood and The Pig & The Pearl; Keith Schroeder, High Road Craft Ice Cream & Sorbet.

An inspirational keynote speaker crowns an evening of new friends, new opportunities and new beginnings. This year’s keynote speaker is Andrew Winston, a globally recognized expert on how companies can navigate and profit from the world’s biggest environmental and social challenges. He is the author of the The Big Pivot as well as Green to Gold and has served as an adviser to leading companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly-Clark and Hewlett-Packard.
